Why Choose a QIP Accredited Dental Practice?
Welcome to one of the first practices in Albury Wodonga to be accredited by the Australian Dental Association for compliance to national standards.
WHAT DOES IS MEAN TO US?
Currently, it is not mandatory for dental practices in NSW to become accredited. However, at Mate street Dental clinic we believe that it is imperative to not only provide the best dental care, but also to be accountable and self-reflective about all of the processes that concern patient relations, health and safety and legislative governance and to strive for perfection and improvement wherever they see the need.
We now proudly belong to a new age of accredited dental practices, meeting QIP quality standards of patient care and sustainable cost structures for all patients.
WHAT DOES IS MEAN TO YOU?
Being a QIP Accredited practice means that all our valued patients, benefit from a number of governing policies that are put in place to provide a working model for best practice. One such policy, for example, allows us to utilise scrupulously observed infection control practices whenever you visit. All staff are educated and conversant with the requirements of infection control set out by the relevant governing bodies both nationally and at state level and all staff receive regular training and updates in this critical area of patient care.
Along with this we are proud of our Work Health and Safety standards and have a working team made up of staff members who consistently review risk management strategies for our patients, staff and other visitors. so that we are assured that their physical and mental well-being is uppermost during their visit.
Accreditation means that all staff members follow strict protocols when it comes to patient privacy and confidentiality and measures are in place to ensure that each patient receives information about the treatment they are to receive so that they can make informed decisions based upon that information. In other words, our patients have a voice and are pro-active in their treatment.
